Bookings & Cancellations
a)   We have a ‘pay when you book’ policy. Either paid for in full at time of booking or by a managed payment plan prior to the hire period  commencing.
b)  All hires are subject to our cancellation policy.
c)  Cancellations up to 48 hours notice will result in 50% of the hire fee being charged.
d)  Any cancellations with less than 48 hour’s notice will result in the full hire fee being charged.
e)  Once the hire is cancelled it is not reversible. We reserve the right to offer the hire to other parties.
f)   All hires made with less than 24 hours notice between the time of booking and the time of the event will be required to be paid in full at time of booking.
g)  Any ‘event cancellations on the day’ will be treated as a cancellation without notice and be required to pay the full hire fee.
h)  Stage-it sets the fee for the required hire period and any pro-rated for any part of an hour that the hirer requiring an extented hire period will be charged accordingly.
i)  In addition to payment of the hire fee, the hirer must pay to Stage-it all costs for any damage to the stages and/or audio and visual production equipment.  

j)  Stage-it provides no warranty that the stages and/or audio and visual production equipment will be suitable for the use for which it is intended to be hired for by the hirer and Stage-it will not be liable to the hirer for any loss suffered by the hirer as a consequence of any staging and/or audio and visual production equipment proving not to be adequate for the hirer's use and purposes.

Indemnity by Hirer
a) The hirer indemnifies Stage-it for any injury, costs, loss or damage arising out of the use of the staging and/ or audio and visual production equipment and/or the conduct of the hirer, its employees, agents and invitees (including legal costs in a solicitor/client basis, damage to the staging and/or audio and visual production equipment except where such injury, costs, loss or damage arises by the negligence of Stage-it and its associated entities.



Risk of Hirer and liability of Stage-it and its Associated Entities/Persons
a)   The hirer usage of the staging and/or audio and visual production equipment is entirely at the hires own risk.
b)   Stage-it shall not be liable to the hirer or its employees, agents or invitees for any loss of life, personal injury or damage to which may be suffered or incurred arising out of the hire and use of the staging and/or audio and visual production equipment by the hirer or the conduct of the function for which the event is located, unless caused by reason of an act or omission by Stage-it and its associated entities/persons.
c)   In no event shall Stage-it and its associated entities/persons be liable for loss of profit or consequential damages in contract, warranty or otherwise to the hirer arising from cancellation of the booking or otherwise.

General
a)   There is strictly no smoking allowed anywhere inside the Stage-it and its associated entities premises.
b)    We do not take responsibility for any personal possessions brought onto the premises.
c)   The hirer, its employees, agents and invitees must take responsibility and the time to familiarise themselves with any safety standards noted with the relevant Australian and International Standards or equivalent during the use and hire of the staging and audio and visual production equipment.
d)  We reserve the right to change or amend these Terms and Conditions without notice.
e)   Bookings are taken on the understanding that the hirer is familiar with and accept the above stated Terms and Conditions.
